Are you considering feeding kibble because you're concerned about the following?

  • "My dog needs that crunch of kibble to keep his teeth clean."
  • "I'm not sure if my pet is getting enough nutrition from an all raw diet."
  • "My pet seems hungry all the time."
  • "My dog just doesn't seem as interested in the raw food as he used to be."

You're not alone. These are common concerns that we hear every day from pet parents like you. A simple answer for these concerns would be, don't give up. Here's the truth, we are here to help and are confident that the BARF® Diet helps alleviate the concerns you have. We truly believe that feeding some raw is better than no raw at all. In fact, feeding kibble causes plaque and tartar build-up, whereas the BARF® Diet keeps teeth clean and provides proper nutrition and nourishment.

If your pet feels hungry all the time, then I would suggest feeding more! If your pet does not seem as enthusiastic in eating the BARF® Diet as he used to be, then give us a call! We have tips and tricks that will get your pup to eat the food with pizazz once again. Truth be told, my dog has the same issue from time-to-time. Dogs and cats are just like us, we get tired of eating the same thing every day. Changing proteins or adding a little extra of his favorite vegetable can help interest your pet in the meat again.

We see first-hand, every day, what happens to dogs that are not getting the live enzymes they desperately need from raw. Feeding an all kibble diet is like feeding a lifetime of crackers. This leads to kidney and bladder diseases down the road. The carb content, in even the best kibble, is usually at a MINIMUM of 40%. Carbs turn to sugar, sugar turns to yeast, and yeast creates terrible skin and ear conditions. Inflammation in the body has been linked to cancer, and we know for sure that a high carbohydrate diet does, in fact trigger inflammation. I don’t want to be a doggie doomsday predictor, but basically an all kibble diet is opening the door for a lot of health conditions and expensive veterinary bills; some of which you may have already experienced. By eliminating BARF® raw from your pet's diet, you are actually losing the health benefits from the best food on the planet.

Raw Food Tip:

"The BARF® Diet doesn't stick to the teeth so there is no problem with tartar buildup in BARF® fed dogs. Actually, kibble diets cause tartar buildup as they are full of preservatives, flavoring agents, artificial colors, pesticides, herbicides, chemicals, fat sprays, etc. which cause teeth to become yellow and brown in color and also cause tooth decay and gingivitis. Whole raw bones are an excellent way to give your pet some jaw exercise and to keep teeth sparkling clean."
