Sonic the Hedgehog

The Story

As a true believer that things happen for a reason, I know that Sonic came into mine and my family’s lives at such the perfect time. We had been in a long and stressful search for the right pup; having to jump through so many different hoops, hitting one brick wall after another; I was so discouraged and wanted to stop looking. Unknown to me, my dad continued the search because he knew how badly I longed for a fury companion. Then one cold, Saturday morning he woke me up and told me that we were going for a drive. After driving 4 hours north, we stopped at a small-town gas station. I thought he was just getting gas, but as I watched my dad walk over to a lovely, kind man and start talking, I figured out why we were there. And then I saw him…. I saw my Sonic, and it was love at first sight. He reminded me of a tiny, little hedgehog, so that is where he got his name.

PERSONALITY

He is the goofiest boy out here! He loves to run, but his favorite activity is hopping around and jumping.. He loves to be outside and play in the dirt and chase kids around the yard. He is so smart, too. I know I say he’s the best at everything, but he has learned every trick I’ve taught him within a day. He does so well on walks and when I let him off leash for a bit, he still follows right by my side.

HEALTH & GROOMING

If you ever get the chance to meet Sonic, even though he is still a pup, you may be taken back by his “old man” face. His coat is a tri-brown color and is super soft and healthy. I know this is due to his awesome diet! He also loves his Freeze-Dried treats, but his absolute favorite snacks are the small beef pizzles which are perfect for his size and age.
